Brokerage overview
Monstra helps you explore, simulate, and understand strategy-driven portfolios. Brokerage connections are optional integrations powered by third-party providers.
Monstra's core purpose is education, simulation, research, strategy tracking, and portfolio analysis. We help users understand how rules-based portfolios behave over time, compare ideas, and review strategy-driven outputs in one place.
The platform is designed to improve clarity around portfolio construction and monitoring. That includes simulated workflows, performance context, portfolio intelligence, and tools for studying strategy behavior before taking action anywhere else.
Monstra is not a brokerage. Monstra does not hold user money, securities, or other assets, and it does not operate as a custodian.
Monstra also does not independently place trades for users. Any brokerage-related action remains subject to the connected provider's systems, permissions, and the user's review and approval.
Brokerage connections are optional. If a user chooses to connect a supported brokerage account, Monstra can communicate with that provider through secure APIs to display relevant account information or prepare brokerage-related workflows for the user to review.
Connecting an account does not change Monstra's role. The brokerage provider continues to maintain the account relationship, custody, and execution environment, while the user remains in control of what they review, approve, or decline.
Alpaca is one supported brokerage connection. Over time, Monstra may support additional third-party brokerage providers through similar API integrations when available.
These integrations are intended to extend the educational and portfolio intelligence experience, not to turn Monstra into a broker-dealer or execution venue.
Users remain responsible for reviewing the information shown by Monstra and for approving any brokerage-related action. Monstra does not remove the need for user judgment, verification, or oversight.
If brokerage tools are available, users should confirm account details, strategy assumptions, and any proposed action directly with their brokerage provider before proceeding.
Monstra's strategy tools are designed for education, simulation, research, and portfolio understanding. Monstra does not guarantee investment performance and does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
All investing involves risk. If you need advice tailored to your situation, consult appropriately licensed professionals rather than relying on Monstra or any strategy output presented through the platform.
